SERVA Software Release TWaver 2.0

SERVA Software announced TWaver 2.0 now available for production use.

"We are quite proud to deliver this new version of TWaver. TWaver 2.0 includes the most-requested features from our customers," said Peter Seitz, President of SERVA Software LLC. "With their feedback, we have been able to provide the important carrier-class features and stay the renowned heritage of hi-performance, flexibility and easy-of-use."

TWaver 2.0 delivers two new product branches, including TWaver Web and TWaver GIS. With the solutions, developers can extend their OSS application to Web and GIS without extra effort. From this milestone version 2.0, TWaver product family will include:

  1. TWaver Java - bases on swing technology, providing network, tree, table, sheet, list, and chart components.
  2. TWaver Web - bases on SVG/VML and javascript technology, depending on TWaver Java, providing Ext JS based solution.
  3. TWaver GIS - an extention of TWaver Java worked with GeoTools, providing reading shape file format map data and basic map manipulation.

"TWaver team plans to deliver two new branch products basing on Flex and .NET technology respectively," said Tony Abemethy, Product Manager of TWaver. "TWaver Web will provide YUI (http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/) and Flex combined solutions, so we plan to deliver TWaver 2.1 soon to meet our customers needs."

TWaver Swing Components 1.5.0 Release

Mar 12, 2007 -- SERVA Software, a Java components provider, is very pleased to announce the release of TWaver 1.5.0, Swing Components product for network topology and generic user graphical interfaces.

TWaver 1.5.0 adds a new List Swing Component, a set of graph layout algorithms for Network Component, a new designed Layer management framework, and minor improvements, enhancements and bug fixes.

New in TWaver 1.5.0:

  • List Component, a powerful replacement for the Swing JList working with DataBox and the TWaver MVC framework with lots of exciting features.
  • Graph Layout, provides a set of graph layout algorithms for Network Component.
  • Layer management, DataBox and Network Component now support layer management, including the Layer Model, Layer object, Layer Table Component and related APIs.

SERVA Software joins TeleManagement Forum

Jul 25, 2006 -- SERVA Software, a leading provider in high performance Java Swing components for OSS/BSS developers, today announced its membership in the TeleManagement Forum (TMF), a non-profit global standards organization that provides leadership, strategic guidance and practical solutions to improve the management and operation of information and communications services.

Using its graphic interface component expertise, SERVA Software aims to utilize TMF's collaborative team and market development information to deliver an intuitive component-based graphic interface building approach for the next-generation telecommunication management solutions.

SERVA Software just release TWaver 1.4.0

SERVA Software just release TWaver 1.4.0 today. The new release improve the performance on loading Link data. A new DataBox-Event-Bus framework also included. A lot of new Generators and Filters has been added for more flexible customization.

TWaver 1.3.1 is a release for enhancing the performance. Now TWaver can load 100k nodes in 10 seconds with API. The memory consumption of 100k nodes also reduce to less than 200M.

SERVA Software releases TWaver 1.2.0

SERVA Software releases TWaver 1.2.0 According to customer's requirements in different countries, this release adds many new features and business objects:

  • Fix some bugs of version 1.1.0
  • Support http URL data source in API/XML
  • Enhance the performance of loading/adding network data.
  • Add new node objects (BTS, Dial, Meter, RoundRect ...)

SERVA Software releases TWaver 1.1.0

SERVA Software releases TWaver Framework 1.1.0. This release mainly enhances the performance of loading/displaying network data. In the same time, it fixs some bugs and adds some new features:

  • Enhance the performance of loading/adding network data.
  • Improve the paint performance of Network/Chassis components.
  • Reduce the memory consumption, make it easy to load/display large scale network.
  • Support GIS (Geographical Information System) network background (SHP,MapInfo)

SERVA Software TWaver are pure Java Swing components used to represent carrier-class network map/topology. We've successfully help our customer to build their network and equipment-management interfaces with TWaver to display large network (over 10k nodes).
